Obama Opens Borders to Mexican Gang Members

BarbWire BWMatt Drudge had the above headline as his top story at the Drudge Report for over a day, linking to this Washington Times report: Border agent laments gang members entering U.S.: ‘Why are we letting him in here?’ What is taking place here is obviously just the latest step in the “fundamental transformation of America.”

The list of Obama Administration failures and scandals continues to increase. The purposefully caused humanitarian crisis with all those children coming over the border from Central America is at least as big as Hurricane Katrina in that it is a man made disaster. It’s one thing to be hit with an act of mother nature. It’s another thing to set things in motion that cause this much suffering on the part of kids. Bryan Fischer and Steve Deace have written about this in recent posts:

Fischer: DREAM Act Supporters to Blame for Humanitarian Catastrophe.

Deace: Obama’s Cloward-Piven Immigration Strategy.

Not content with that, Team Obama is stepping up their activities on our southern border. Here’s the opening of the Times report noted above:

Border Patrol officials are swamped by the number of minors crossing illegally into the United States and frustrated that they can’t turn away known Mexican gang members.

Chris Cabrera, vice president of the National Border Patrol Council Local 3307 in the Rio Grande Valley, said that confirmed gang members in Mexico — including those from Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) — are coming into the country to be reunited with their families, National Review reported Friday.

“If he’s a confirmed gang member in his own country, why are we letting him in here? … I’ve heard people come in and say, ‘You’re going to let me go, just like you let my mother go, just like you let my sister go. You’re going to let me go as well, and the government’s going to take care of us,’” Mr. Cabrera told the magazine.

He said that the only way to solve the problem was to implement harsher restrictions on who can be allowed to cross.
