A public relations campaign has been launched to gain support in the African-American community for traditional marriage. The campaign is backed by a new coalition of Cook County African-American clergymen and the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. They hope to strengthen opposition to the redefinition of marriage bill pending in the Illinois House of Representatives.
