Here is Bill Muehlenberg in his April 20th post, “Not So Safe Schools,” writing about so-called anti-bullying efforts in the public schools:
A simple look at these programs will make it clear that this is all about homosexual propaganda and the indoctrination of children. In my book Strained Relations I spent several chapters documenting how our children are being targeted by the activists, especially at schools.
For example, there I mention the noted US feminist and lesbian Tammy Bruce. She said this about the issue of children and the homosexual agenda:
“The radicals in control of the gay establishment want children in their world of moral decay, lack of self-restraint, and moral relativism. Why? How better to truly belong to the majority (when you’re really on the fringe) than by taking possession of the next generation? By targeting children, you can start indoctrinating the next generation with the false construct that gay people deserve special treatment and special laws. How else can the gay establishment actually get society to believe, borrowing from George Orwell, that gay people are indeed more equal than others? Of course, the only way to get that idea accepted is to condition people into accepting nihilism that forbids morality and judgment.”
I’ve quoted Tammy Bruce several times over the years and for good reason — she gets away with saying things most other people can’t. In her book, The Death of Right and Wrong, Bruce wrote (emphasis added):
For people whose entire identity and reason to live is based in their sexuality, what do they need to do in order to fit comfortably into our society? They must work to sexualize every part of society…
Just that idea alone is crazy — but here’s more from Bruce, (again emphasis added):
From where does this madness spring? Why this compulsion to change our society’s culture to mirror the Left Elite’s own worldview? This pattern of the Left Elite’s projecting their issues onto society isn’t as odd as you may think.
It makes perfect sense, according to the most respected psychoanalysts of our age. Childhood trauma, stress disorders, and the resulting malignant narcissism all play a part in the Left’s victim mentality and in their effort, mostly subconscious, to shape our world to mirror their own damaged psyches.
Why can Bruce get away with saying such “homophobic” things? Here is the first sentence of Bruce’s Washington Times op ed on February 28, 2014:
As a gay conservative woman, I supported Arizona’s religious freedom bill, which was just vetoed this week by Gov. Jan Brewer.
What? She is “gay” and she supports religious liberty? Is she nuts?
Barbwire.com excerpted that February 2014 article and for good reason. In it, Tammy Bruce wrote that there is —
— an effort to condition the public into automatically equating faith with bigotry…lawsuits against small business [are] resting on the notion that acting on genuinely held faith is bigotry per se.
Under these rules, freedom of conscience is squashed under the JACKBOOT of liberals, all in the Orwellian name of ‘equality and fairness.’
