Planned Parenthood: A Marketing Plan from Hell

Editor’s note: I wrote this article last fall when I stumbled upon the awful discovery of one of Planned Parenthood’s boards. As I saved a short post by BarbWire contributor, Lee Duigon, I thought this might be the time to revisit the article. The more one knows of Planned Parenthood, the more the organization’s stark and utter depravity is revealed. Tami Jackson

Since Roe V. Wade was wrongly decided, sans precedence in 1973, abortion has snuffed out the life of a whopping 55 million plus babies.

And do not be deterred by Planned Parenthood protestations of concern for women: abortion is a big, dirty, money-making business.

The giant cash cow in the abortion business, Planned Parenthood grosses (as of 2012 stats) about $320 million per year, 51% ($164,154,000.00) from abortion services. To top that off, tax payers wittingly or not, contribute another $542 million to the coffers as of 2012.

No matter how you parse it, that is big business.

outcomesunintpregConsider that approximately 4 in 10 pregnancies are terminated via abortion. That is stunning.

Even worse, in New York City, within the black population, the abortion rate is 50% — a dream come true for the late Margaret Sanger.

Planned Parenthood and its proponents even try to tell us partial birth abortion is necessary, though well-respected former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop stated:

“partial-birth abortion is never medically necessary to protect a mother’s health or her future fertility. On the contrary, this procedure can pose a significant threat to both.”

But there is reason to be hopeful:

Since the election of President Barack Obama, Americans have experienced a shift in how they view abortion.

In the spring of 2009, several polls showed that for the first time, the majority of Americans identify themselves as “pro-life.”

Now it seems Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund, has elected to take a new marketing tack as of late 2013.

Richards, is touted on PP’s site as “a nationally respected leader in the field of women’s health and reproductive rights.” Unless of course the woman is in gestation, in which case she must acquiesce to the whims of the mother.

Trust me, when pro-aborts rattle off the catch phrase “life and health of the mother,” what they really mean is “inconvenience to the life and health of the mother.”

And just what is this new marketing ploy launched to get Planned Parenthood back on track to slaughtering babies at an even greater pace? The marketing plan from hell?

PP has just released a new “Clergy Advocacy Board Statement: Pastoral Letter to Patients.”

Read carefully:

Did you catch that? Planned Parenthood is now enlisting “clergypersons” who will be “supportive of you and your decision” (ie to have an abortion).

The letter states:

“The truth is that abortion is not even mentioned in the Scriptures — Jewish or Christian…”

True, the word abortion is not used. But scripture specifically forbids murder, the killing of an innocent.

Thou shalt not kill
Exodus 20:13

Literally in Hebrew, the phrase is “you shall murder NOT” using the word “ratsakh,” a premeditated murder or manslaughter.

What does scripture have to tell us about the pre-born?

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Psalm 139:13-14

And in Jeremiah 1:5

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

And finally, a favorite from Deuteronomy 30:19

This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.

It would appear that scripture and the Author of scripture do indeed have much to say about the sanctity of human life.

So just who are these Planned Parenthood featured “clergy and people of faith from all denominations”? Certainly not pastors or priests or rabbis who revere the scripture, or even READ it.

In fact, scripture calls such people false prophets (prophecy can either be the foretelling of future events, or the gift of communicating and enforcing revealed truth), and God does not mince words concerning such.

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Matthew 7:15

The truth? Any and all who align themselves with Planned Parenthood, the leader in the industry (providing 40% of the 1.2 million abortions in America per year), do NOT represent God and His word.

Margaret Sanger formed the organization, American Birth Control League, which would eventually become Planned Parenthood. Sanger was greatly influenced by, among others, Havelock Ellis who famously wrote in 1919:

“We desire no parents who are not both competent and willing parents. Only such parents are fit to father and mother a future race worthy to rule the world.”

Sounds very much like the PP mantra, “every child a wanted child.”

Margaret Sanger’s eugenics theories were famous and breathtakingly evil, and formed the governing foundation for the American Birth Control League.

Now, as pro-life forces are gaining ground, Planned Parenthood and its CEO are mounting a new offensive and masquerading as ministers of light to render comfort to pregnant woman who decide to end the life of their unborn babies.

Don’t be deceived: PP, and each and every “clergy” will be implicit in the death of those babies and in the weighty burden of guilt borne by those women post-abortion.

Any marketing strategy which calls truth a lie and lies the truth is not only morally reprehensible: it’s a plan straight from hell.
