Let’s correct the above headline that appeared on a Daily Herald news story yesterday morning. It should read – “3 mentally ill people get new birth certificates.” And the article should explain how the judge is nuts, and the government that pays him is out of control.
Folks, Gender Identity Disorder is a mental illness. And while there are some crazy people who want to have that disorder removed from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, it’s still there.
Founding Father John Adams said the following:
“[W]e have no government, armed with power, capable of contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge and licentiousness would break the strongest cords of our Constitution, as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
He’s still right. And the fact that much of society – especially those within government – are so far afield of common sense, means that there has never been a greater need for clear-thinking people to step into the political fray and help take back the country from the nuts and flakes.
