The above headline is from the Rasmussen report excerpted below. The story should be altered and the headline should read:
Incredibly stupid Republicans and conservatives, especially the rich ones, continue to do nothing to address the lousy left-wing media problem
Here’s a good subheadline:
When will the rich people on the political right wake up and enter the media business so their fellow Americans will get more accurate news?
It’s not an option. It’s going to have to happen eventually. It’s been thirty years since Ronald Reagan’s first term—and it was then that we all learned definitively just how bad the media is.
Anyway, here’s the opening of that Rasmussen article:
Most voters continue to believe it is not possible to run for the presidency without help from lobbyists and special interest groups. A narrow plurality, however, continues to believe that media bias is a bigger problem than big campaign contributions.
By the way, I’m not a fan of Fox News. Yes, they mostly do a better job than the other television news outfits, but they are so lacking in sense in so many areas they’re not having the impact they can or should. Nevertheless, Fox, even if it was what it should be, is not enough.
