A Doctor Whose Heart and Eyes Were Tragically Opened to Life (Video)

Abortion, The Left, the Progressives, the “pro-aborts” often say, “is a very difficult decision and should be between a woman and her doctor.”

But the question we must all ask is, why in the world would abortion be a difficult decision if its just “tissue” being aborted? Appendectomies are not difficult decisions. Tonsillectomies are not difficult decisions. Tooth extractions are not difficult decisions.

Only abortion is deemed a difficult decision. Because abortion does not eradicate an infected organ or tissue or decayed tooth: abortion ends an unborn baby’s life.

There have been so many lies told in the abortion industry.

Planned Parenthood has been caught repeatedly lying about its services: fending off the national horror over videos unveiling the selling of baby body parts, Cecile Richards denied the charges and asserted PP provides mammograms and prenatal care. Not so. A Live Action report proved Richards and Planned Parenthood to be liars. Big fat liars.

But every once in a while someone tells the truth about the life-stealing, gruesome nature of abortion.

Glamor magazine — no bastion of conservative values — reported on the decimating emotional consequences of abortion, women weeping and depressed long after having “terminated” an unwanted pregnancy.

Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood “Health Center Director” speaks the truth about PP at every opportunity and founded “and Then There Were None,” a nonprofit organization that exists to help abortion clinic workers leave the abortion industry.

Dr. Anthony Levatino, a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist performed over 1,200 abortions early on in his career. Until, through personal tragedy, he could no longer deny the preciousness of life. As written at LifeSiteNews last year:

My daughter Heather was hit by a car in front of our home when she was two months shy of her sixth birthday. She died in our arms in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. I did a few more late-term abortions after that, but it was too difficult to continue.

When you lose your child, life is very different. Everything changes. All of a sudden, the idea of a person’s life becomes very real. It is not an embryology course anymore. It’s not just a couple of hundred dollars. It’s the real thing. It’s your child you buried. The old discomforts came back. I couldn’t even think about a D&E abortion anymore.

No way.

I stopped doing the second-trimester abortions. Then I came to the realization that if I shouldn’t be killing children in the second trimester, then I shouldn’t be killing them earlier, either.

The heartbroken doctor not only stopped performing all abortions, he became one of our nation’s most vociferous crusaders against abortion — filming video describing the horrific procedures, writing about the inhumane practice, and even testifying before Congress.

The following is one such testimony and worth watching:

God bless you Dr. Levantino! May your bold work touch hearts and minds with the truth those “workers of iniquity” try to cover: abortion is murder of an unborn baby, and mothers are too often not warned on the burden of guilt and loss.

There is grace and healing for those women, and for the fathers. And there can be grace and healing for America if we turn from our wicked ways, if we roll back the evil of Roe V. Wade and choose life.
