Here’s an instructive and troubling email I received from a young Christian elementary school teacher who defends the teaching in public schools of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Her email points to the pedagogical, intellectual, spiritual, and theological problems that plague our young Christians. Her email is followed by my response:
