The secular left is working overtime to destroy our culture. The attempt to utterly destroy marriage is just one of the ways in which they are doing this. And it may be the most successful assault occurring. Once you tamper with the fundamental units and institutions of society – marriage and family – you really do destroy everything.
All the radicals have known this and worked toward this. Vladimir Lenin for example put it this way: “Destroy the family, destroy the nation.” As historian Arnold Toynbee correctly observed, “Nations rise and fall with the health of its families.”
So the activists have always targeted marriage and family in their attempts to utterly destroy society, and fashion it into their own radical image. Thus the secular left has been obsessed with the promotion of special rights for homosexuals, including marriage and adoption rights.
Canada’s Ugly Gender Agenda
All over the West we are witnessing moral meltdowns and gender madness. Radical activist groups and trendy elites are insisting that sexuality and gender are entirely open-ended, and that anything goes. Indeed, gender is just a social construct anyway, so let’s pull out all the stops, and declare a war on nature.
Sexual politics thus keeps getting further and further out of control. Witness another recent indication of this: “gender neutral” restrooms. Yep, you heard me right. Men and women are identical in every respect, these activists insist, so it is wrong and discriminatory to have ‘his’ and ‘her’ bathrooms. Consider what is happening in Canada concerning these matters.
Obliterating Parents and Families
The homosexual activists keep insisting that they just want to be left alone to do their own thing. They merely want the state out of the bedroom, they claim. If that were all they wanted, most folks would agree. But that of course is not just what they want. They are on a mission to destroy marriage and family, and to even deconstruct the very nature of parenting.
Thus we have seen a full-scale war declared on mothers and fathers as part of their radical social engineering agenda. They are intent on remaking family, parenting and marriage into their own distorted image. And sadly they are succeeding on many fronts.
