From Parker Lee at IJReview:
During a guest spot on ‘The Adam Carolla Show’ on Monday, actor John Rhys-Davies delivered some compelling statements regarding Christianity, political correctness and his belief that the world seems to have “lost its moral compass completely.”
While discussing World War II — in the midst of which the British actor was born in 1944 — the topic of religious persecution arose.
In regards to today’s issues with the subject, Rhys-Davies said:
“There is an extraordinary silence in the West. Basically, Christianity in the Middle East and in Africa is being wiped out — I mean not just ideologically but physically, and people are being enslaved and killed because they are Christians. And your country and my country are doing nothing about it.”
The Welsh actor is well-known for his roles in “Lord of the Rings” and “Indiana Jones.”
