Editor’s note: Every day, the Internet makes most college degrees more unnecessary. That is too big of a conversation to have in this post so let’s not. A few years ago I read new a biography of Napoleon Bonaparte — it was a good book that had received very good reviews. But the truth is, after watching this video from Prager University, I think I now know twice as much about the man as I did previously. Here is PragerU’s introduction to the video:

He was the most famous man of his time — so much so that his name still defines his age. Born on an obscure island into humble circumstances, he rose to conquer a continent. Yet most today know little of him beyond their impression from popular caricature. His improbable story and its far-reaching consequences — both positive and negative — are the subject of this video from renowned historian and Napoleon scholar Andrew Roberts.
