Just kidding. Of course there is no plan. Our side does a good job of monitoring the liberal media bias, but it’s not good at doing anything about it — like buying news networks and providing the country with real journalism on a large scale.
Here are the articles from this morning’s Media Research Center email:
1. CNN’s Toobin Suggests Govt Overclassifying Info Causing Hillary Clinton ‘Suffering’
Appearing on Wednesday’s At This Hour with Berman and Bolduan on CNN to discuss the latest revelations that some of the email on former Secretary of State’s server was considered highly classified, CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin ended up downplaying her culpability in her behavior as he asserted that she was “suffering from” the tendency of government agencies to “overclassify” information.
2. NBC Ignores Latest in Hillary’s E-Mail Scandal; CBS, ABC Give Only Seconds
On Wednesday, NBC’s Today completely ignored a major development in Hillary Clinton’s e-mail scandal, while CBS This Morning and ABC’s Good Morning America only offered seconds of coverage to the news. After the story broke on Tuesday that the intelligence community’s inspector general found several e-mails sent through the former Secretary of State’s private server contained some of the nation’s most classified secrets, all three broadcast networks censored the revelation on the evening newscasts.
3. CNN Still Touts Bill Clinton as ‘Asset,’ Despite Bad Poll For Hillary
CNN is staying true to its reputation as the “Clinton News Network,” even after it released a poll on Tuesday which found that Hillary Clinton is behind competitor Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire by 27 points. The following morning, on Wednesday’s CNN Newsroom, Carol Costello spotlighted how Bill Clinton was “about to take the stage to stump for his wife, Hillary Clinton — something, perhaps, that is much needed at this moment, since Hillary Clinton seems to be lagging in some of the polls that are out there.”
4. Networks Neglect to Cover Senate Democrats Blocking Passage of Bipartisan Syrian Refugee Bill
On Wednesday night, the major broadcast networks failed to cover the move by Senate Democrats earlier in the day to filibuster the bipartisan Syrian refugee legislation that had passed the House in November with the help of 47 Democrats that would have tightened restrictions to more thoroughly vet refugees from the war-torn region seeking to enter the U.S. Overall, the vote failed to hit the 60 votes needed to overcome the fatal blow by Senate Democrats as the final tally was only 55 to 43.
5. HuffPost’s Fineman Tries to Tar Cruz, Trump with Political Damage from Flint Water Crisis
Perhaps hesitant to let a local government mismanagement crisis in Michigan go to waste, the Huffington Post’s Howard Fineman sought to tie the Flint water crisis as an albatross around the necks of both Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and GOP primary frontrunner Donald Trump. Fineman made his remarks during a brief appearance on the January 20 edition of MSNBC’s Hardball.
6. Networks Yawn at Gun from Fast and Furious Being Connected to El Chapo; Gives Seven Mins to Trump
With the liberal media continuing its full-court press obsession over the Donald Trump campaign and the endorsement of Sarah Palin, the “big three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC partnered with Spanish-language network Telemundo to ignore on Wednesday a new development in the Fast and Furious scandal as a weapon involved in the gun running was connected to the now-captured Mexican drug lord El Chapo.
Despite a four hour-run time, NBC’s Today on Wednesday skipped a dire new poll showing Bernie Slanders crushing Hillary Clinton by 27 points in New Hampshire. ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning , in contrast, both covered the surprising development. GMA co-host Amy Robach marveled at “the stunning new poll showing her free-falling in New Hampshire.”
7. NBC Skips New Poll Showing Sanders Clobbering Clinton
Despite a four hour run time, NBC’s Today on Wednesday skipped a dire new poll showing Bernie Slanders crushing Hillary Clinton by 27 points in New Hampshire. ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning, in contrast, both covered the surprising development.
