After Romney’s performance, I was expecting Paul Ryan to better handle Joe Biden’s buffoonery. Biden has been a buffoon since he ran for president the first time in 1988 (I actually played Biden in a mock debate back then so I remember it well). Those involved in debate prep had no excuse for not seeing this bullying style coming.
Ryan should’ve ridiculed it as it was happening. It’s fine that post-debate analysis hits Biden on his antics, but Ryan should’ve kicked Joe’s teeth in while it was taking place. Guess what Obama will try in debate #2. I hope Romney is more prepared to deal with it than young Paul was tonight.
