In their first year, Indiana voucher schools scored high marks in statewide testing, proving the program is providing high-quality choices for families.
Results of the Indiana Statewide Testing for Education Progress Plus (ISTEP) show voucher schools had an average 91-percent pass rate in English/language arts and an average 89-percent pass rate for mathematics. Public schools also showed improvement.
