Americans’ pleas for help in Sudan ignored

How stupid are Republicans and conservatives when it comes to the information war? So much that it’s not easy to measure. When things like this are happening and we hear NOTHING from MOST if not ALL elected Republicans and conservatives about it, well, I’m not sure what else I have to say.

Here’s Carol Brown writing at American Thinker:

Obama ushered in a new age of evil.  Hillary Clinton will follow suit.  Here’s a recent snapshot of just how depraved things have become (as if we need more examples).

The AP recently reported on a four-hour rampage of violence directed against Americans (and others) in South Sudan when Sudanese troops attacked a residential compound last month.

The soldier pointed his AK-47 at the female aid worker and gave her a choice.

“Either you have sex with me, or we make every man here rape you and then we shoot you in the head,” she remembers him saying.

She didn’t really have a choice. By the end of the evening, she had been raped by 15 South Sudanese soldiers.

The bloody attack singled out Americans as men, women, and at least one teenage girl were raped. People were forced to watch the execution of a local journalist. Some were beaten with fists, belts, and the butts of guns. Many were robbed. Some were tortured. One man had bullets fired at his feet and near his head, after which time soldiers said: “You tell your embassy how we treated you.” The man managed to make his way to the U.N. compound to ask for help.

To no avail.

You should follow the link and read the rest. Then tell me how it is that our “leaders” can’t seem to find the time to discuss this and make it news. So many policy areas are so messed up — look at the debt and unfunded liabilities. Yet “our guys and gals” in office are relatively silent there too. But when you read a news report like this — doesn’t it seem like it would cause brain synapses to fire and action to be roused on the part of our “leaders”?
