12 – Bill Shelton
Arkansas State Trooper and fiancée of Kathy Ferguson. Critical of the suicide ruling of his fiancée, he was found dead in Sherwood, Arkansas, on June 12th, 1994 of a gunshot wound, sprawled on the grave site of his fiancée.
The police report indicated the fatal shot entry point behind the right ear, exit point behind the left ear. Also, first accounts indicated Trooper Ferguson left a note (found next to the body) saying “I can’t stand it any more.” Local police chief says, “It puts big questions in your mind. Why?”
