Paraphilias of the Day: Anthropophagolagnia, Anthropophagy and Vorarephilia

Yes, there is such a thing as Vorarephilia.

Wikipedia, the online free encyclopedia, is known to be owned and (mostly) managed by Leftists. The reason I mention that is because when I, as a conservative, write about odd manifestations of human behavior and link to Wikipedia for definitions, readers should know that this is not some right-wing plot to make the LGBTQIA(etc.) crowd look bad.

People should be able to be themselves and you have no right to hinder their beingness.
If you are reading these words and are confused, let me refer you back to the opening articles of this series. You’ll better understand when you realize my the premise — there is a natural/biological design (for sex), and then there is everything else.

A paraphilia is defined as follows according to Wikipedia:

Paraphilia (previously known as sexual perversion and sexual deviation) is the experience of intense sexual arousal to atypical objects, situations, fantasies, behaviors, or individuals. Such attraction may be labeled sexual fetishism. No consensus has been found for any precise border between unusual sexual interests and paraphilic ones. There is debate over which, if any, of the paraphilias should be listed in diagnostic manuals, such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) or the International Classification of Diseases (ICD).

The number and taxonomy of paraphilia is under debate; one source lists as many as 549 types of paraphilia. The DSM-5 has specific listings for eight paraphilic disorders. Several sub-classifications of the paraphilias have been proposed, and some argue that a fully dimensional, spectrum or complaint-oriented approach would better reflect the evidence.

The LGBTers have paved the way for the social liberation and acceptance of all sexual impulses. To oppose this, we know, is to be on the wrong side of history. That history, being, of course, a return to paganism.

If you are disgusted by our paraphilias for today and want to complain, take it up with Wikipedia or the other websites kind enough to provide definitions.

First up — some bad news. The Wikipedia page is kind of thin for our first paraphilia, Anthropophagolagnia:

Noun

anthropophagolagnia (uncountable)

  1. (rare) The paraphilia of cannibalism preceded by rape.

The page gives two references: [1] and [2].

That’s it. But here’s some good news — there are often many other sources providing definitions for the hundreds of ways that humans can become sexually aroused. Here is just one: sex-lexis.com. Here it is how it bills itself with centered text on its homepage:

The Language of Love, Lust, Sex

and All the Many-Splendored Things in Between in Teenspeak – Jockspeak – Menglish – Slanglish – Spanglish Gaylese – Americanese – Britspeak – Ozslang – Funetic Populo-Vulgar Speech – T-Shirt & Net Shorthand Pompo-Verbosity & other Figurative Lingos

nbsp;

Their definition of our first paraphilia: “Cannibalism preceded by rape.” Okay, that we already knew. For another definition, check out the Urban Dictionary’s here.

The best web page for learning about Anthropophagolagnia is found in this article: Displeasures of the flesh: A brief look at anthropophagolagnia and paraphilic behaviour in serial killers.

Our next entry is Anthropophagy — here is Wikipedia:

Anthropophagy is the custom and practice of eating human flesh. It may refer to:

  • Cannibalism, when one human consumes the flesh of another
    • Anthropophagi (singular anthropophage), a mythical race of cannibals first described by Herodotus
    • Self-cannibalism, the act of eating one’s own flesh
  • Man-eating, the consumption of human flesh by non-human predators (“man-eaters“)
    • Human hematophagy, the consumption of human blood by other animals
  • Antropophagus, Italian horror-film 1980

Are you in the mood for more? Okay, just one more: Vorarephilia:

Vorarephilia (often shortened to vore) is a paraphilia characterized by the erotic desire to be consumed by, or sometimes to personally consume, another person or creature, or an erotic attraction to the process of eating in general. Since vorarephilic fantasies cannot usually be acted out in reality, they are often expressed in stories or drawings shared on the Internet. The word vorarephilia is derived from the Latin vorare (to “swallow” or “devour”), and Ancient Greek φιλία (philía, “love“).

The fantasy usually involves the victim being swallowed whole, though occasionally the victims are chewed up, and digestion may or may not be included. Vore fantasies are separated from sexual cannibalism because the living victim is normally swallowed whole.

You get the picture.

Hey, don’t be a bigot. That could actually be one of the themes of this series. Just because you don’t get sexually aroused by cannibalism or ingesting human flesh or being eaten alive and swallowed whole, doesn’t mean that such desires are wrong. Again. I say, don’t be a bigot — or a paraphiliaphobe.
