The Big Con: Default in the Future

If Ron Paul could just get through to enough people that the Federal Reserve makes the federal government’s wild overspending possible, the FED’s days would be numbered. Dispatches recommends the following article by Sheldon Freeman:

“It will be one big con on the public. At best the ‘statesmen’ will have kicked the can up the road, leaving it for others to grapple with in the not-too-distant future. But those others will likely be no better able to solve the problem than their predecessors.”
