When Evil Is Championed

Three important articles from Bill Muehlenberg:

When Evil Is Championed

Evil has always been around. It used to be called sin, but it has always been with us, and for most of human history people were able to recognise it and for the most part acknowledge that it is evil. Sure, everyone sinned and did evil, but until recently most people knew that sin was sin.

Consider sexual sin. Not all that long ago one could be a fornicator or an adulterer or promiscuous or consumed by lust, and so on, but most people at least knew this was not right and it was not something to glibly make excuses for. People may have committed all these sins back then, but they usually still knew that they were sins.

Consider the old work of fiction, The Scarlet Letter. In the 1850 novel by Nathaniel Hawthorne a young woman has been found guilty of adultery and is forced to wear a scarlet A on her dress, and paraded publicly, as a sign of shame. The very notion of such a thing occurring today of course would be unheard of.

Not only is adultery as common as breathing, but the very sense of shame and remorse which used to accompany such sexual sins has all but disappeared as well. We don’t feel shame about anything nowadays. We not only do not consider sin to be sin any more, but we are happy to sin with impunity.

Why Freedom Is Fast Disappearing

There are now so many cases of freedom at risk, especially religious freedom, because of the homosexual rights’ campaign, that I have decided to write another book documenting all the recent cases of the “tolerance brigade” in action.

Trouble is, the book will be dated as soon as it appears. Guess I will just have to write yet another one after that. The cases are as relentless as they are shocking. Here I will briefly discuss two more such cases, and then offer some commentary from legal experts on this matter.

A few days ago we learned that “Boston cops must defer to transgender crooks”. Yep, you read that right. As the article says, “Criminals just got more rights in the city of Boston – at least, those who identify as transgender. According to new regulations, officers of the Boston Police Department must use a transgender suspect’s preferred first name, find out whether the person likes to be called ‘he’ or ‘she,’ allow him to choose whether male or female officers perform his frisking, and give any transgender inmate a private ride to and from court.

“New BPD rules say police must use the name anyone who is arrested prefers, ‘even if the individual has not received legal recognition of the adopted name.’ Policemen must also ‘respectfully ask the individual’ when they are ‘uncertain about which pronouns are appropriate.’ All friskings will be performed by two members of the sex the transsexual chooses, if at all possible.”

More Sexual Madness

The gender benders are having a field day, causing all sorts of harm and confusion. In an age in which most people have succumbed to mental and moral mushiness, it seems anything goes when it comes to human sexuality. Instead of acknowledging how nature intended things to be, we are seeking to deconstruct nature, and make things up as we go along.

Today we are told by the radical social engineers that there are many sexes – it is just a social construct, not a biological imperative. Thus you can be heterosexual today, transsexual tomorrow, bisexual the following day, homosexual the next, and so on. It seems the sky’s the limit for sexuality.

All sorts of confusion and grief is being caused as we deny reality and live in the la-las land of sexual deconstructionism. Remember the story of the poor 8-year-old California boy? The headline was shocking enough: “The little boy who started a sex change aged eight because he (and his lesbian parents) knew he always wanted to be a girl.”

Imagine doing this to a mere child who is still developing physically, emotionally, psychologically, and mentally. But we are seeing this more and more often. Children are being made the pawns of adult social engineering. Where will it all end?
