The First Amendment is a Social Issue; Fortunately, Just 29% are Socially Liberal

The results of the Rasmussen poll posted below won’t change how most Republican politicians act in the public square. Most will still behave as if 90% of the population was pro-abortion and anti-science*/anti-religious liberty**.

The fact that the smallest third of the country is socially liberal won’t make an impact because our side has no clue about how to set the narrative. They have constructed no adequate avenues to get around the liberal media, Hollywood, and the left-wing balderdash presented to young people as truth through the K-College system. And Republican politicians are scared to death of offending those who do control the flow of information.

As I’ve been saying, our side isn’t in the information war. We’re micro-communicators when macro-communication is needed. Click here to learn more: The Information War.

The following is from Rasmussen:

Fewer voters now identify themselves as “socially liberal” than they have in the past.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 29% of Likely U.S. Voters now consider themselves liberal on social issues such as abortion, public prayer and church-state topics. That’s the lowest number of self-identified social liberals since early last year. Just as many (30%) consider themselves moderate on such issues, the highest since October 2012, while 37% say they are conservative, up four points from September.

The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on December 20-21, 2013 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC..

* Why do I call it “anti-science”? Because the left tries desperately to hide the fact that all we’re talking about here is human behavior — homosexual activity is not the equivalent of race or gender, but they want everyone to believe that it is. That is anti-science.

** Religious liberty is a God-given right which is why the Founding Fathers put it up first in the First Amendment, and there is no common ground on this issue between those who support and defend the Constitution and those who work to advance the homosexual agenda. My friends, the First Amendment is a social issue.
