It has long been an entertaining notion for me that those who promote the advance of the extremist “homosexual rights” agenda see themselves as more enlightened than those of us who defend traditional morality.

It’s bad news for the “gay rights” community: political correctness won’t forever win out over the ugly reality of the many diseases afflicting the homosexual community.

A serious debate about the extremist “homosexual rights” agenda is often hindered by those who can’t handle any discussion about morality. Too many people, as professor and author Gertrude Himmelfarb once said, “are embarrassed even by the idea of passing moral judgments in private affairs” or of “such judgments in public affairs.”

The subject of Gender Identity Disorder involves a lot of discussion that, to say the least, borders on the ridiculous. Because of this I want to make it clear up front that this is not a parody.

The four-letter acronym GLBT has left out one very angry group that promises to go on an anti-Western Culture rampage if society doesn’t quickly recognize and embrace them.

Tammy Bruce has some harsh words for the leadership of the “gay rights” movement and for those who seek to “indoctrinate decent, thoughtful people into accepting that the standards by which they were raised are wrong.” Her words are made all the more important because she describes herself as pro-choice, a feminist, and a lesbian who was at one point a part of the left’s political leadership.

Societies around the world fall on different points of the spectrum – ranging from civil and just – all the way to chaotic and barbaric. There are no guarantees that our nation will maintain its relatively good position on that spectrum.

How can I be optimistic that the “homosexual rights” movement will fail in its attempt to radicalize America? Easy. Just look at the news footage and the pictures from this past Sunday’s homosexual “pride parade” in Chicago. Can those people parading down the street win the argument? I don’t believe it.

One of the reasons I’m optimistic about the future of the discussion of morality in this country is that despite decades of work attempting to get every American to discuss their sex life in public, most people still prefer not to. I believe human nature suggests that won’t change any time soon.

Public opinion polls showing the progress of the “homosexual rights” movement are much like the poll numbers showing support for abortion in the early 1990s. Back then only the most principled political candidates ran as openly pro-life.
